Nanotechnology (Nanohydroxyapatite Crystals): Recent Advancement in Treatment of Dentinal Hypersensitivity
Dentine
hypersensitivity is characterized by short sharp pain arising from exposed
dentine in response to stimuli typically thermal, evaporative, tactile, osmoticor chemical and which cannot be ascribed to any other form of dental defect orpathology.
Tooth hypersensitivity differs from dentinal and pulpal pain in that
the patient’s ability to locate the source of pain is good. Dentinal
hypersensitivity is a response from a non-noxious stimulus, is a chronic
condition with acute episodes, whereas dentinal pain is a response from a
noxious stimulus, and is usually an acute condition.Read more>>>>>
