Human oral cavity is a very good environment for the transmission, inoculation and growth of a variety of agents that can be infectious or detrimental to others. Hence, disease transmission can easily occur in dental clinics through various routes.    Prosthodontic Clinics These include direct contact with blood, oral fluids, or other secretions; indirect contact with contaminated instruments, operatory equipment, or environmental surfaces; or contact with contaminants that are airborne.
